I haven’t gotten to put a whole Lotta miles on this yet, so I will update later. The weight and texture feel like a real soccer ball. Which is pretty darn good considering most of the other products like this feel like a plastic ball with a light in it that you can kick around like a soccer ball.Packaging was definitely not meant for visual appeal, so if you’re going to give it as a gift, I’d go ahead and inflate it and wrap it yourself.

This ball is great. It is very easy to see even when it is pitch black. I've played with it for a while with my kids now on the original batteries. They come with a bunch of additional batteries. It is impact activated and stays lit for 30 seconds which is more than enough time to get another touch in. When we play it always stays on. Very good soccer ball, works perfectly in the night if there is no light on the surrounds, but if there is some spotlight or a strong light, I'll be useless, because any bulb light can make more light that this soccer ball.

My daughter received this for her birthday and we blew it up and walked to the basement and it is so cool. The way it glows in the dark, so fun.

The neat concept of this soccer ball is that it glows with 2 small battery powered lights that is movement sensitive. However, this size 3 ball is actually smaller than a true size 3 soccer ball, which made it look like a joke ball on the field and completely negated that it was supposed to be a "cool glow” ball. Additionally, the ball is rubber and not a typical soft stitched soccer ball which makes pull backs more challenging and forward kicks require less momentum. It’s an okay ball for kids

Pulled the battery tabs after pumping up the ball, and the lights don’t work. It came with extra batteries, but I can’t even get the batteries out of the metal brackets to replace them.

Gave this as a gift. Was a great gift. Gave to a 5 year old who loved it. Played with it indoors as well as outdoors. Loved just bouncing it and watching it light up.

Received ball fast and everything worked great. Ball lights up when it’s kicked. Purchased for my 7 yo who plays soccer and likes to play outside at night. Very pleased with my purchase and so is my son.

This is great for us and our little one to go out on evening walks to the park. It isn't perfectly smooth rolling as the covers for the lights protrude just a little more than the thickness of a quarter yet it's good enough that he is learning to dribble and pass. While this ball is pretty cool, there are a couple of features I'm not crazy about. First off, given that only portions of it light up, it's not all that bright compared to another model I've seen. You have to bounce it to get it to go on, and while that probably saves on batteries, it's annoying. Lastly, the batteries are EXTREMELY difficult to replace. GREAT BUY!Got this for my son for his 4th birthday and he absolutely loves it! No more having to stop playing ball because it got dark outside! Lights up perfectly on contact! Not sure on how easy it is to change the batteries yet or how long they last. But I will definitely be ordering the football too!

My only complaint is that the needle for the pump is hard to find at first, but it is in a very conveinent location.As for the ball, it lights up nicely. It is a rubber ball, but looks like it will hold up. Time will tell. My son will use it tomorrow for soccer in a gym with the lights off so I may have more to report tomorrow.

I purchased light-up-soccer ball for my grandson for his father's birthday (Brooks Bowers) who has officiated games, played games and loved soccer for many years. I bought this for my three grandchildren ages 8 and 11. They all play soccer with school team and they absolutely love this ball. It looks and feels like a regular soccer ball.it’s solid. Will be buying a few more for other grandchildren and one to keep at our house.

This is a great soccer ball. Looks and feels like a regular soccer ball, but it lights up. My son who coaches soccer was very impressed. My grandson also loved it. I filmed them kicking it after dark - absolutely wonderful. I think I'm going to buy one for my granddaughter next.

This thing is awesome! Great for night time dark games and walks around the block on winter evenings! It is plastic, so the feel is different, of course, but it glows very well and shuts itself off after a few minutes of no use so it has lasted well for six months so far and continues to glow brightly. It’s fun!

This has come in handy with the short days in the daylight so my grandson and his Dad can still play as the sun sets. Or in the rain. Such fun!
