This was the cheapest monitor stand I could find that was able to reach the desired height. I'm glad I bought it for this purpose. However, I am deducting one star for the design and another for the price due to the design (ie it obviously didn't put a lot of time into the development phase). The adjustment mechanism is cumbersome and time consuming. There are literally 6 joints that you need to adjust and then adjust to find the correct height and incline.
