I was looking for an alternative to the Apple stylus, mainly for taking notes on my iPad Mini 5, which I use in the small Cessna 172 cockpits. One of the main features I was looking for there was a rejection of the palm. This one works perfectly, no pairing required and super fast on/off. I don't need pressure or tilt sensitivity when taking notes, but I prefer not to have these features to keep my notes stable even when I have to take them in tight spaces or in turbulent conditions on an airplane. The power button is a bit odd, but I've never pressed it in normal use, so I don't think it's a big deal. The only really stupid thing about this pen is the crappy mini-USB connector. too bulky for a stylus (it's just a design issue) but the lighting connector would make a lot more sense considering it's an Apple-only device. It's not a big problem, but you'll need a different cable (included).
