I have to sleep in complete darkness to feel refreshed. I've been using eye patches for decades. This is my absolute favourite. Domed eyes allow you to open your eyes fully without touching the bandage with your lashes. The mask is soft and comfortable on my face. The best part is the extra detail that is made of soft fabric on the nose. Most headbands have a contoured nose to block light around the nose, but none have been perfect. This little piece of fabric is a stroke of genius. It doesn't let all the light through. Even with all the bedroom lights on, with this blindfold and eyes wide open, I'm completely blank. It is impressive. The elastic band around the head that holds the blindfold over the eyes has a light gel-like coating on the head. The band does not slip through the hair. There is a velcro strap to adjust for the size of the head. I will be buying more of these as I need one in all the places I sleep, nap, be with me when I travel and one in the van just in case. Only small minus is that the velcro area is a bit thick. I once had to adjust the position of the strap so it wasn't directly under my head. But I already figured it out, so it's all good. And in case you're wondering, I'm NOT the type of writer who gets a free or discounted product for a good review. Just an ordinary girl who was so impressed with this headband that she had to write such an extensive review.
