It sticks to itself so be careful when using it. I use it on a back door with glass to keep heat in with a bath towel. * It's not upscale decor, but hey, it's cold, and don't judge a girl who just wants to stay warm! In my opinion, there's no reason to put a curtain tie on a metal door, so it seemed like it would work here in the Midwest during the coldest months of the year. Sticky? Absolutely, but it works and my hallway is warmer than before. I will be using this for other projects, some decorations some not. Seems to be a solid product and it's holding up. The weight of the towel along with the door being used sometimes causes it to fall off, but it keeps sticking to the same strip above the window on the door. I am happy with this purchase!
