I have been buying dog food for many years. Pedigree is a good brand and the dog's coat is always shiny. It seems this is just what is stated on the bags. I have no doubt that the packaging is exactly what it says on the label. There are many dog food companies that sell dry dog food made in China and this is the kind you need to check out. The preferred diet for dogs is no dry dog food. Dry dog food contains a lot of corn (grain). Everyone knows that the dog is related to the wolf. The preferred food is raw meat. I buy canned food, it's just gravy and a few pieces of meat, and I pour it over. Especially in the winter months. I highly recommend this brand.
