Review on πŸ§₯ Black Coat Rack Umbrella Stand by Scott Rangel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Stable and lots of hooks. Easy assembly, just needs a little patience.

After seeing reviews complaining about the difficulty in assembling the unit, I was wary of part placement and identifying parts according to the assembly page (they were actually included). I'm not mechanical or particularly strong and it took about 30 minutes to assemble and took up my time. I can only conclude that those who had problems must have received the wrong parts. Actually there was nothing in it if you follow the diagrams. Tips: There are plastic caps at the ends of the three middle tubes. They are intended for transport only and must be removed and disposed of. The screws fit according to the instructions. The bullet connectors MUST be fully inserted into the parts before attaching to the uprights. DO NOT swap the bolts as some suggest. There are 18 long screws and 3 short ones. The short ones are for umbrella stands, round piece, and they fit. It was a little tedious to fit the third screw to this round piece as it wasn't perfectly aligned. Leave the first two screws slightly loose, allowing the metal to "flex" slightly. It didn't take much effort to slide the ring into place and align it just enough for the last screw to go straight in. Then finish tightening the other screws and you're done. The stand makes a stable and fully functional impression. LOTS of hooks for lots of coats as well as an umbrella stand. That's all I asked for.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Easy to repair
