I bought 2 of these to use on my 3 day hike in the mountains. At first it seems to be working. Then the filter was not attached for a long time when refueling. Luckily the water I drank was clean. Maybe I attached it to write it. I read the instructions again and reinstall the fountain pen. A mile later I checked to see if the filler was still attached and it was. My third filling didn't have the filling attached! WTF! I drank unfiltered sea water. Do not buy, I return open, used and unsafe pens, as well as unopened. They should have made it a screw to make it more secure. You should fire the idiot who designed it! Because of this product defect, I became ill. I will contact a lawyer.
