    This is a good product, great for camping and hiking. Not very good for everyday use. My biggest complaint is that it's often the little O-ring that keeps it on the water bottle; very often repelled and water begins to flow. It's easy to fix, but it's annoying because you'll spill water at least every few refills. This, along with the way the lid and cap screw together, makes everyday use really difficult. Both unscrew the same way, so if you try to unscrew the cap, unscrew the entire cap. As…

    I bought 2 of these to use on my 3 day hike in the mountains. At first it seems to be working. Then the filter was not attached for a long time when refueling. Luckily the water I drank was clean. Maybe I attached it to write it. I read the instructions again and reinstall the fountain pen.     I bought this before going to Mexico because I was told the water was undrinkable. I figured adding all the bottled water I have to buy would probably pay off and last a lot longer for future trips. After this trip I will never be without this filter again!     Terrible taste even in clean water

    I love this concept and was hooked on it. Like wearing an ICanBreathe mask (organic cotton + carbon filter) on my face to filter the air wherever I go, this should be a portable water filter so I can find clean water anywhere. Many reviews implied that this would help purify tap water and improve its taste. It wasn't my experience at all. I followed the directions.     Difficult to drink

    This filter fulfills its main purpose: filtering water. That being said, most people will be happy with it. The biggest complaint I have is how hard you have to suck to actually drink. The filter doesn't use gravity to filter the water, instead relying on you to force water through a multi-stage filter by sucking it in through a straw.     When I had to travel to Mexico for work I decided to buy this filter and a 32 oz filter. bottle of nalgene. I've been to Mexico before and while it's usually pretty easy to buy a couple of bottled water, it's much more convenient to be able to fill it from the tap. In short, this is a great filter.
