Good bass and mids with headphones

So I bought them at Marshalls for 6.99. I have to say the bass is pretty good, tight and pretty clean bass. The mids are also very good. Where are the highs? To be honest, it doesn't make them shine. Seems like they cranked up the mids and bass and forgot to crank up the treble accordingly. These headphones are pretty good, they certainly look good, IMHO, they're a delight, especially if you like bass. But if you can spend $5 more and get the Evolution, the highs are crisp and sound very clear, with good, tight bass. Okay, update after about a month of use. As I also bought the Skull Candy Ink'd headphones I will compare them as they sell for the same price. Okay so build wise, straight out of the box they seem about the same. Same wire material, wire design and appearance, which is mostly personal opinion. In terms of bass, both headphones have very good bass for the price, which is the best thing about the headphones in my opinion. In terms of clarity, both are as crisp as can be in 20 headphones. Here's the difference. The mid-bass is much better on them than the Ink'd headphones, and the highs are better on the Ink'd headphones. What does that mean? As I said above, the highs seem to be overshadowed by the mids and lows, but still sound balanced enough to be fun. Skull Candy's Ink'd headphones are now up-pitched, meaning the Ink'd sound brighter, but at the same time the mids are missing, making the sound seem incomplete, while they sound solid on the Ozone. I still recommend them. So if you plan on getting them, chances are you'll love them. Hope that helps
