Many other reviewers commented on all the shortcomings of this mirror, so I won't repeat them, although I agree. What really annoys me about this product is that the seller goes out of their way to hide the weakness of the rearview mirror mount. It's a weird crappy piece of plastic with protrusions in various places so you can slide that stupid metal leg over it to support the mirror. Every time I try to lift the mirror to close it the little piece of plastic folds back and then I can't close it so it lays flat. It's not the end of the world, but it annoys me. Another really annoying thing I found about this mirror is that the side mirrors aren't wide enough for you to effectively see your entire head from the side. . If they put the headlights on the side panels instead of the main mirror, the side mirrors would be wider and just wide enough for you to be able to see your head from the side. This frees up space in the primary mirror area to give you those extra few inches of viewing area you think you need. Various light shades of color are useless as all but one are too dark to be seen effectively. The only thing I really like about this mirror is the extra magnification.
