So first of all this product works great as advertised. However, the things that prevent it from being 5 star are like a gallows. The leather strap is not long enough for anyone over 6ft 3in, this is not the fault of the product, you just need to order a longer one separately. It would be nice if the cable could be opened up to insert the cable for your microphone. All in all, if you've never used it before, it's more than right for a new firefighter/emergency doctor. I went with the Bungie version and added a large black rubber strap for extra support. The version with a leather top can be lost and may not fit depending on the radio. The single latch is versatile and does the job by itself, I just don't want the radio falling out when crawling or climbing through studs or walls. Total commitment adds about $15 more to a great product.
