I've searched everywhere for a good baby hat to protect our little one from the sun. We live in San Diego and it's sunny all year round. This hat covers the neck and the flap provides ample protection from the sun. The material is nice and soft and the choice of pattern is also very nice. I bought three of these hats in 2 sizes: small and medium. The hat was a bit too big for my baby at 3 months (head circumference was 40cm) but I just made it a little smaller by filing the back. I saw my baby to size when he was 4.5 months and the little hat fit perfectly. At 6 months she fit a medium sized hat (head circumference 43.5 cm) but now at 9 months (head circumference 45.4 cm) she has grown small. In short - this is a good summer hat and the small size is suitable for a 3 month old baby.
