Review on Vivitar 500Mm Telephoto Mount White by Carmen Polk

This lens is fantastic! I've had limited use as it's winter here now. I hooked it up to my Canon T5 and am now learning all about it. So far, it's been pretty easy to focus. This is NOT autofocus. I have found that once I am focused I can use the built in zoom and increase the distance to the frame. Can't wait to get it out and catch robins and redbirds on their migration. I had no problems with the mount and I didn't need it as it was included in the kit. I strongly recommend putting it on a tripod or monopole to make the lens more stable. It's not light and has quite a bit of weight so keep an eye on it. The way it is built will serve me for many, many years. Vivitar 500mm f/8.0 Telephoto Lens (T-Mount) (White)
