First Thoughts: The Ecobee SmartCamera with voice control was very easy to set up. Within minutes of opening the box, I was already in the app and able to control my home remotely. The camera is heavy and well made, and the magnetic mount options are versatile and easy to use. The camera has an excellent field of view and is easy to control via the app. It's so great to be able to monitor my child in the nursery with the ecobee SmartCamera with voice control and to be able to control my home. After a week of use: I still love the Ecobee SmartCamera with Voice Control and I really enjoyed using it, to monitor my home. The picture is very clear and bright. Details are easy to see in daylight or incandescent light. Night vision is excellent and clear. The tracking feature is very attractive. The inner camera moves to follow the subject, but the outer camera stays in the same place. This helps keep the camera incognito. My favorite feature is the ability to recognize a person. The Ecobee app warns me immediately if there is a person in the camera's field of view. For those with pets, this is an amazing feature. I like that I know immediately what triggers the motion alarm. I get a notification on my phone via the ecobee app when the camera is turned on. I also have the ecobee app on my watch so I get the notification too.
