Perfect for rotation Sunny-Day Road Trip

"Shine" is a standout single with an adorable video, cute lyrics, and a meme-worthy dance that anyone with enough enthusiasm and effort can pull off. The rest of the album ends with lots of fresh blues cruising music and a fun hip hop track that reminds us to stay awake to E-Dawn and Yuto who are damn good at what they do. Nothing grabs you like "Shine" and the end effect is softer and friendlier than Ikon. This isn't bad by any means, but it does mean they can push the envelope a bit when it comes to defining their own individual style and group sound. 10 is a lot of members to work with and it's hard to get everyone to shine. I will be painfully honest: I know five members by name and can only distinguish three by sound alone. There is so much crazy talent here that it's almost disappointing that there are so many guys to sift through, even if they are such likable cuties. As for the Mini itself: The packaging is good, but could be a little more polished. The folded poster has at least one awkward crease that should have been better planned (Peace be upon the face of Yang An), while the second photo book is glued in such a way that the binding warps and eventually tears. I love the matte cardboard finish on everything and it feels good with my fingers. I love my muted, slightly goofy photo of Hui. The photos in the two accompanying photo books are real eye-catchers, especially if you want to view human flesh (there's an almost unnecessary amount of shirt-lifts and underwear on display). Also included is an invitation to a fan meetup that's already ended (oops), an invitation to an audition at Cube Entertainment, and an ad for a Cube-operated coffee shop and rental space. All in all I'm not disappointed (except maybe for the barky poster) and have already put it in my car CD player where it will live until something else comes along that's just as fresh and entertaining.
