Cool headlights - new lighting

Landed on the boat. I like the fully enclosed LED lights and not just the case. Cut the LED straight in half. I've already used soldered and soldered ends for connections. Connect these ends to the solder control box and heat shrink tubing. Butt connectors were also useful in certain stages. I strip the plastic from the butt connector and cover it with heat shrink tubing. This makes it thinner for all wires and gives it a cleaner look. I completely sealed the IR control unit with Dicor sealant (which I had in stock). Stuffed the cut ends of the sleeve with shoe slime and called it waterproof again. Mounts it upside down with heavy duty 10ft double sided tape cut in half down the middle to fit the 1/2" sleeve. Seems to hold up but there must be a better way to install the silicone grommet, super glue I think. The included clips weren't an option and the adhesive on the back doesn't work at all. Bought 20 feet of 4-wire cable (RBG+) to cross a ship's beam. A wire was needed, albeit with a larger cross-section, which made the terminals purchased unusable. For the + and - Power Box, cut and remove the black wire and ignore the black power supply. On this LED in the shell, red to plus, black to minus. On another set I had (sealed LEDs) it was black (auto) to blue (IR box wire) and red (auto) to brown (IR box wire). Far too remote. I prefer the smaller one.
