Review on Chinese/Japanese Folding Nylon-Cloth Hand Fan - Amajiji Large Women'S Gift Craft Dance Fan by Devin Perry

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Noisy, but not in the good way.

I bought this fan to replace a really nice one I had for several years (that one was a gift). I didn't realize that the nylon fabric would be so stiff and noisy when fanning myself. Also it doesn't fold up as nicely as I had hoped. But having said that, I do find the construction of the product to be well done and hopefully it will last for a while. It doesn't SNAP as loudly as my other fan did, but maybe it'll get louder in time? I'm not so sure. The size is large and the handles are textured which make for good gripping though. I guess if I hadn't had my previous fan to compare it to, I'd give it a higher rating. But I am still disappointed overall.

Pros
  • A great way to introduce young children to different cultural practices
Cons
  • The fan may not be a suitable gift option for individuals who prefer practical or functional items with clear utility
