I've been feeding my 20lb dog a recipe for a lamb dish for years and accidentally ordered this one (because the packaging was green like the lamb food and I didn't think twice!) . We moved in and no local store carried that brand. I was shocked when I opened it up to find the granules are tiny, pinhead sized granules, not the regular blueberry sized granules. This is great for my small senior dog who probably has trouble eating mixed lamb due to his size. Lately he has been chewing and spitting up quite a bit and refusing to eat it all together. It's a lot easier for him to deal with those eggs. So small that he tends to breathe them in and sometimes choke on them, so now I just soak his food for a few minutes before he eats it. The small size of the granules allows for rapid water absorption.
