3D SUPPORTED. I particularly enjoy watching Tron and Top Gun, but Thor and Beowulf also freak out in 3D. It took a bit of trial and error and I had to test some points with dlp-link, but all my 3D Blu-ray discs are working great now. Ambient light can have a major impact on dlp-link glasses. I've found my old Sony's to work well and the elephas brand works as well. Other brands remained unaffiliated. Another review claiming that 3D is not flat is wrong. It is explicitly supported and tested in the specifications. User error is not a valid reason for a negative review. Implementation, it's just not as good as others these days. I have a Chromecast with Google TV connected to my AV Receiver and am using that instead of the Smart system that came with it. If you want a great setup for immersive gaming or cinema, you need a good 8k walkthrough AV receiver. BenQ has good placement guides, but you may need to check their website. I've also tried this with soundbars (including Atmos and 5.1 systems) and found it difficult. Modes can sometimes cause overscanning (distortion and edge expanding). So if your console or other source doesn't have built-in controls for it (stadium), you may have trouble operating in lower latency modes. AMAZING PROJECTOR. Excellent. Mine is 10 feet from a 120 inch screen.
