. I have a 2001 Honda XR50. The original carburettor no longer idled even after 18 1/2 years in the garage. This carburetor worked right out of the box. No adjustments at all. I used all of the parts that came with the new carburetor except for the throttle cable cover on top of the carburetor. I used the original Honda carburetor throttle cable cap as it had a 90 degree bend in the rubber boot and I wanted to keep it, but everything else under that cap came with a new carburetor. The bike now idles fine, just like the day we bought it new. Not sure about durability but time will tell. At the low price you pay for this carburetor, it's a lot cheaper than rebuilding an original Honda carburetor. I keep the original Honda carburetor clean and use it as a spare in case this new carb fails.
