, I have just replaced a battery opener for the second time and wanted one with batteries that I can actually replace. The other two I just replaced with these died after a year and a half of use. I hate that I can't easily change the batteries so I bought these because you can change the batteries. Positives: Looks very nice (actually matches my black stainless steel appliances); replaceable batteries! The big negative is that it's not as strong as the others I've had. I really hope I don't have to throw it away in a year. Update: I have to apologize to the manufacturer. The opener seemed very weak at first, but after changing the batteries it works just as well as others I've had before. I have changed my rating to 5 stars.
