This small device offers very good value for money. I used composite cables with a converter to connect the Wii to a computer monitor prior to purchase (there is only one HDMI port). I got this adapter hoping to get rid of the massive amount of cables and connectors in my system and it worked! I was concerned that this thing would be too big and heavy and therefore easy to fall out of the console, but my fears were allayed. It's solidly built (for the price) and fits snugly into the console so it won't wobble or fall out. It's quite long and sits about two inches from the back of the console (I took the photo for reference), so make sure you have room around your Wii. So far it's definitely worth the money as it allows the Wii to step into this new generation of HDMI-only TVs. However, keep in mind that this device does not make your Wii any better. The Wii is old hardware and can only output in 480 modes. By "adapt to 720p or 1080p" the seller means the Wii will use these display modes and there probably won't be any black bars on the sides of your TV. but the graphics will not be a decent 720 or 1080. The Wii will look better than the Wii with an adapter (which is very good) but don't expect it to look like a PS4 or X1 as the Wii is much older hardware.
