THE REAL SERESTO WORKS FOR US

I have used Seresto collars on all six of my dogs and all five of my cats for years. I had no negative reactions or side effects. I'm getting a solid six months, but eight is too many. I get two a month with a subscription and when I have enough to do all 11 animals it's time to switch them up. Note that they do an excellent job of management and prevention, but if you're already infected, you may need to take a few extra steps to contain and control the infestation. Sometimes it's under control, even though they control it for me. I don't want to challenge anyone who has had a negative experience. I can only confirm my own experience and it is positive as long as they are genuine Bayer Seresto collars. I say this because I have dealt with several fakes. Some customers have reported not just ineffectiveness, but real negative reactions to counterfeit collars. Luckily, the worst result I saw was that the fakes didn't work. I've read that some fake collars can actually harm your pets. Therefore, before putting a collar on your pet, first and foremost make sure that you have a real collar. YouTube has articles and videos on how to spot a fake Seresto collar. I encourage you to do your homework if you are using or considering Serestor. I won't try to be exhaustive here, but there are a few things to watch out for. * The color inside the lid should look metallic. Not a plain solid color.* The word Seresto is printed on the lid in raised, embossed letters.* The lot number is printed in BLACK letters on the collar and must match the lot number on the back of the canister.* A purple collar indicates a fake The original Seresto collars are grey, not purple grey.* Serial number and date code (e.g. B-01/2017) on the lid of the jar instead of production code (e.g. LV1805) and 8 digit serial number.* Photocopy , poor quality - folded documents in the bank. And these things for verification are not a guarantee of authenticity. Some or all of these functions can be copied successfully, but if ANY of these things is WRONG, then you have a fake. Don't put it on your pet. To illustrate, here are some photos of the fake next to the real Seresto collar. Most have the fake on the left and the original on the right, except for the photo where they are superimposed. fake below. And in some photos, a collar with white writing is a fake. The black inscription corresponding to the batch number on the bank is genuine.
