Meh, not as expected

We have a teak tray in our shower to hold everything and thought this would work well; however I quickly discovered the tray needs to be treated with this product far more than what I would expect. I am a Haus Frau and I clean constantly, so I use this product every 2 weeks to clean and seal our teak. It doesn’t appear to actually soak in as well as expected and it smells. NOTE: DO NOT WASH YOUR RAG THAT YOU USE TO APPLY PRODUCT WITH ANY OTHER LAUNDRY ITEMS OR THEY WILL SMELL AND YOU WILL HAVE…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not eco-friendly or sustainable

Works wonders in my review

Love this teal oil. Initially purchased for a teal shower bench but then used it on the rest of the wood in my house. It all looks better than brand new. It’s Low VOC. You can definitely smell it for a day or 2 but I like the smell. It’s kind of earthy. Not like other oils that over powering and chemical smelling. I let it sink it overnight then removed the excess the next day. It did not remove any of the finish. It just enhances it.

Pros
  • Worked great on our teak headboard.
Cons
  • Limited shelf life once opened

It is easy to apply and dries quickly between applications. I used

I liked how easy it was to apply. The productdries quickly and enables you to apply a secondcoat without waiting over night. It can be appliedwith a cloth or a brush.

Pros
  • We treated several new pieces of patio furniture. Easy application, and so far so good.
Cons
  • Not recommended for use on unfinished or untreated wood

What a difference for my opinion

Used this on my teak shower stool and it was great! Looks like new. Had only cleaned with dish soap and brush previously. Strong fumes can be harmful to pets and small children.

Pros
  • Worked well on the teak bench
Cons
  • Strong fumes can be harmful to pets and small children

Product absorbed nicely into the wood

The smell at first was pretty strong, but recommend taking it outside, rather than inside as I did. My problem is the piece I used it on was too heavy for me to carry to my garage

Pros
  • AquaTeak
Cons
  • May not fully penetrate the wood’s surface

Protecting my investment

Easy of application, and didn’t change the color of the bench shower seat too soon to determine protection value , right now it looks good .

Pros
  • If I knew I could I would use this on my hard rock maple desk and dresser.
Cons
  • May not fully protect against scratches or dents

I like this product

A little goes a long way. Only a mild order that soon dissipates. The shower seat I used it on has been in the shower about a month, water beads up and dries without leaving any spots.

Pros
  • Works ok. It’s very thin but maybe that’s a good thing so you can easily spread it out through the wood.
Cons
  • Takes longer to dry than other wood oils

Shipped quickly and works great

Purchased to oil up the wood on my teak speargun and bring the luster of the wood back and prevent future damage from salt water.

Pros
  • Easy to use, and brings back the new look to the teak.
Cons
  • May require more frequent reapplication than other wood oils

good quality, easy to use.

I bought this to use on an Aqua Teak Bench that I had purchased for my shower. I wanted to make sure to oil the bench for protection before I started to use it. This was very easy to apply, I just used a sponge brush and basically painted it on the bench, waited for it to soak in, then wiped off the excess. It took very little product to do the job, so this bottle will last a long time. And the bench looks great, and will be protected in the shower.

Pros
  • Bought for my teak stool as recommended. Great product
Cons
  • Flammable and must be stored safely

A Must Have for Teak Wood

We recently remodeled our bathroom and installed a pull down teak wood bath seat. It was beautiful for the first month and then looked dull. I bought this teak oil and followed the cleaning instructions for the teak and then applied the oil and the bench looks beautiful again. It doesn't take much oil to cover the bath bench.

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • May not fully protect against insects or termites

Didn’t hold up: my feedback

Purchased 7/5/2021. Treated it with teak oil myself before using and 2x since. It is now 1/14/2022. Not stable. Front middle leg and lower section wobbly. Not screwed together there. Other joints are screwed together, but turning black in joint cracks. The glue used is separating & rotting/molding. Shame cause it looked nice in the shower corner and served as a nice shelf/occasional seat. I weigh 175lbs. Not obese.

Pros
  • Treated the teak very well ! , appears to be lasting quite nicely
Cons
  • Can cause discoloration or damage to certain types of wood

Soaked into the wood nicely

Great quality wood oil. I bought it for a teak shower bench and although it was supposedly pre-oiled, this made the wood darker and richer. It also repels water better.

Pros
  • Limited Time New Low Price!
Cons
  • Can become sticky or tacky in high temperatures

Easy to Use on my review.

I used this on a teak table that was part of a railroad trestle in India. Easy to use and not greasy. I will probably apply it once a year.

Pros
  • Great product!
Cons
  • Strong, unpleasant odor during application
