🚲 Thule Yepp Maxi Child Bike Seat: Safely Enhance Your Family's Cycling Adventures Review

There is no accurate description of the compatibility of this product with different types of bikes. I bought this product to install on my regular mountain bike and it was not compatible at all. Out of concern for my child's safety, I cannot make any modifications to the product or my bike to make it work. If there had been an accurate description of the possible incompatibility of this product, I probably would not have bought it. This is not a cheap product compared to other brands.

THE KEY WILL NOT BE REPLACED ATTENTION! We love the seat, but if, like me, you lose your key, both Yepp and Thule will become completely unresponsive after numerous calls and emails over several months. You just can't get a spare key (although Yepp Online says you can in their FAQ). The key allows you to remove the seat from the mount - my wife and I have mounts and we take turns with the seat so we cannot remove the seat without the keys. I finally agreed to spend the extra money on this seat and it was well worth it. It is very well made, the seat is comfortable for my almost 3 year old and it has more room to grow. All bike shops in our area sell Topeak child seats, which attach to the trunk and are heavier. We ordered Thule Yepp online and went to the bike shop for installation. It has been an AMAZING experience using it for the last 1-1.5 years. The seat looks minimalist compared to the Topeak, but is very comfortable. It is very easy to remove the seat when not in use.
