All bike shops in our area sell Topeak child seats, which attach to the trunk and are heavier. We ordered Thule Yepp online and went to the bike shop for installation. It has been an AMAZING experience using it for the last 1-1.5 years. The seat looks minimalist compared to the Topeak, but is very comfortable. It is very easy to remove the seat when not in use. It's pretty easy to switch between bikes if you buy an optional adapter (have seen others, although we just stuck with the built-in adapter). And we see older kids sitting happily all the time so I'm sure our daughter's seat will last until she's 3 or 4 years old (she's 2 now) so it's perfect to use until she learns ride their own bike! By the way, we thought of other formats (front seat, trailer) and the rear seat is the best. Protects the child from the wind + easier maneuvering + optimal footprint compared to a trailer
