Revainrating 4 out of 5

I can't say it doesn't work, but I can't say it works either.

[UPDATE] After a bit of experimenting, I found that there are periods displayed during the BIOS boot process part. It doesn't happen fast and/or long enough to be interacted with unless you know what the screen is saying. This appears to be due to the BIOS fiddling with the VGA output while running. Since most of the time I don't need a BIOS, this is an acceptable limitation. ZAMO contacted me. We exchanged several emails to resolve this issue. I appreciate your support. They were more pushy than most supports I've worked with. In conclusion, I have to say that the product works well except for the above caveat. It's entirely possible that I could get it to work 100% if I wanted to set my monitor to a specific mode. But I share this monitor with multiple computers, and I love it when it "floats" to anything that helps compute. So I'm increasing my original rating by one star. Once you're past the Bios message, the adapter seems to be working fine. I don't play games so can't comment on how it would work for that, but everything else I've done has been fine. [ORIGINAL] I tried this adapter on 2 computers. 1 with Windows 10 and 1 I'm building (just no hard drive). Nothing comes out of loading on either computer. On a Windows 10 computer, this adapter will work once Windows 10 arrives, but not before. During boot I only see a black screen (although my monitor appears to be in HDMI mode). So it doesn't work the way I wanted it to, but it seems to work if I take the description literally.
