The tripod itself is of poor quality, broke on first use. The holder, on the other hand, is a good thing. Thanks to the spring-loaded clamping arm, it fits almost any smartphone. It's secure enough to hold the phone in any position. I use it with my Galaxy S5 and it's perfect. It's also nice that it has a tripod lock. This allows you to mount your phone on any tripod with a standard screw mount. I ended up pairing the holder with a Joby tripod which is much higher quality and provides a firmer grip than the tripod that comes with this product. I wish the mount was sold separately but I'm still happy with the purchase despite the broken tripod.
