Review on 💡 Amazon Basics 8-Outlet Power Strip Surge Protector - 4,500 Joule, 6-Foot Cord, Black/Green by Brent Borseth

I bought this product hoping to mix power cords for some network devices. Most devices use wall mounted power supplies. From the photos I could see that I couldn't use all the sockets because they are too close together, which is normal. I figured I could stun them and use at least 5 or 6. As it turned out I could only use 3 if using any wall warts. Outlets are not only too close together in a row of five outlets, but also too close together. I have attached photos showing the close range. If Revain's engineers had given some thought to how they would be used in the real world, it could have been a really good thing. Oh well. The green light is bright but where I wanted to use it wouldn't weigh it down. All in all I'm disappointed at the moment and will have to look around for another one that suits my needs better. I will keep these. A surge protector with a 12-foot cord and switch for less than $10 can always come in handy.
