Oh how I love how this headboard fulfills all my wild desires to finish my bed and fill the room somewhere between minimalism but with a little Intention to shape .embellished strokes. What I wanted couldn't be too simple or ostentatious, too masculine or (even worse) ostentatious. I need to be able to add a touch of ruffle or plush softness or a pop of color to my overall look as my tastes, mood or seasons change. This room is my relaxation room in the house and with the pillow it is the perfect place to meditate. This headboard allows for all of that and really makes a nice addition to a few feminine touches or can be overtly ultra-masculine with leather or iron. The appearance of the leather is actually a fabric that is soft to the touch, not plastic like vinyl. **Please note Patricia's GREAT welcome (reviewer on January 10, 2021) on using #8 screw caps - now that you know them it's a MUST. They really are that perfect - almost the same size as the latch on the straps and you can't add them on very easily once installed. It's best to have them delivered from somewhere right after you place your order for the headboard. (**Trust me, you'll save a day driving around town to look for them locally, even though the website says they have them stocked at your nearest store.) One with too many "dips." " with wall anchors.
