Review on ๐ŸฆŸ LINKPAL Electric Bug Zapper: Effective Mosquito Lamp & Insect Killer by Kim Aguilar

Works for me on Bug Zappers

I don't understand what the complaint is about. This is a basic bug screen and is hard to screw up. UV-A tube in the middle; around it is a spiral mesh in the form of a double helix; plastic container. 3ft cord, since Chinese homes are small, I recommend 10ft cord for American bedrooms. No switch, just plug in. We haven't had much luck with the large rectangular dual light systems, either they seem too bright indoors to fool the mosquitoes into thinking they're a star or maybe their steel bars are too big to catch the tiny mosquitoes. This one-flame model starts more with us. Perhaps two-bulb systems work better as beacons to the outside world; We were also lucky enough to place them on the floor rather than in the middle of the room. Therefore, this single lamp system is cheaper and more powerful. As of July 2020, there are about 20 models on the market that are almost the same. This is the cheapest I could find; it does the job and it works. We buy a fourth for different rooms to stop pushing blocks back and forth. Edit: Bulb replacement - FSL Actinic BLT5F6W, 209mm through, 222mm including pins. PUSH on-to-fit socket, NO twisting. Disassembly requires a 12-year-old child with a Phillips screwdriver; Be sure to short-circuit the coils by touching the two disconnect wires with a piece of metal (screwdriver) after disconnecting to avoid possible light shock, as the capacitors retain energy even after disconnecting.

Pros
  • โšก SAFE FOR PEOPLE AND ANIMALS: no more pesticides or potentially harmful aerosols. Non-irritating smell, non-toxic and harmless to humans. We encased the impact grid in a durable ABS plastic case to prevent possible harm to pets and children.
Cons
  • High price
