My 6 year old daughter loved this little makeup kit and chose it herself because of the cover of My Little Pony and also because of her love of makeup. All areas of the lip gloss smelled like gum, cotton candy and berries and the blush stayed on well and didn't irritate my daughter's skin. We used to have a large makeup set like this one, but the side drawers broke and got stuck easily. With this particular kit, one side is more difficult to open than the other, but it is doable. The only other thing that would make it look better would be if it included some eye shadow instead of a lot of lip gloss. Overall a decent product that my kid loves.
