Upon arrival I LOVED this coat and felt I got a really good deal at $40. However, after wearing it a few times, I realized why it was discounted - it's a custom. It has a few minor seaming imperfections: the inner lining of the left sleeve protrudes from the outer sleeve at one point, the lining has left a big hole, some stitching on the outer quilting isn't quite right, etc. The overall quality is good, and I think so that it was a good $40 deal. Now that they've raised the price, not so much. It's also a little tight on the shoulders. I wear large, exactly what I ordered. Update: There is actually no such thing as quilting. I washed the coat according to the instructions and all the padding ended up in my washing machine! What a mess! I hope this doesn't ruin my septic tank or washing machine. Put most of the stuffing back in and sew the opening shut, but there's no quilting to hold it in place. It remains a fluffy pile next to my butt. Not good.
