Nice product. Exactly like in the photo. You can buy with confidence; This is a really nice, well-made step stool, not to mention a beautiful piece of furniture that doesn't look like something from another era or the product of a child's woodworking project like some other bed steps I've come across in my travels that become nameless be. Should work with most decors. I am short and overweight, 230 pounds. I needed something to stand on to get on and off a very high bed. Because of my weight, I didn't want to risk buying something I wasn't entirely sure would be 100% durable and strong. I have no problem standing on it with my full weight. He doesn't wobble, doesn't squeak, or give any indication that I'm more than he can handle. As another reviewer noted, it can slip a bit on hardwood floors, but won't move when you put your weight on it. I plan to protect mine by putting a small rug underneath.
