I say it did its job perfectly. It's a very flat belt, but it held up some oversized airsoft pants perfectly and didn't get in the way of my larger, thicker belt, which I also wore. Since the material isn't thick or stiff (compared to, say, leather), it also didn't interfere with the attachment points of my button-down suspenders, where I imagine a larger belt might get in the way. It's the perfect harness, but I'm not sure it would be the best for storing gear (whether for airsoft or maybe work). I have used a thicker and larger Bundeswehr belt for airsoft holsters and such, not this one. But I can't say I've tried it, so maybe this strap is holding up exceptionally well.
