My new favorite charger

I'm not new to batteries, but I'm relatively new to using lithium batteries. This charger eliminates my complaints that I had with the VC2 and VC4. This charger in particular: * Can charge both Li-Ion and NiMH batteries * Uses a standard micro-USB input * Can work as a pass-through, allowing you to charge your phone AND batteries from just one USB port * Pass-through connection DOES NOT pass current through batteries, reducing battery and electronics wear and tear * Can be used as a power bank with one or two Li-Ion batteries (not with NiMH batteries) * Has a red/green charging /ready indicator You can see if the batteries are ready from across the room * The display has bright, clear graphics * The display will automatically dim after a few seconds * The display can actually be dimmed down by pressing the button for a few seconds keep pressed * The display shows voltage / mAh total current / selected charging current / actual charging current / internal resistance.*The display shows the battery voltage without connecting to i for power supply * Etw as less than VC2 * Can charge at 2A for 1 cell, 1A when charging 2 cells. BUT it adaptively regulates charging speed based on internal resistance and voltage. You can charge at 500mA by first connecting the load to the USB pass-through port and then inserting the batteries. In my limited testing you can unplug the USB load as soon as the batteries start charging and it will continue at 500mA. Cons: * Although it can function as a pass-through/power supply, there is a delay between a power outage/loss and the battery pack turning on, so forget about using it as a RaspPi mini-UPS or similar function. * No travel bag included. It fits perfectly in my VC2 bag, so I carry it in it now.
