Charging normally, display is unusable

The marketing highlight of this product is the improved display, which unfortunately is unusable for its intended purpose. Big, bright voltmeters show (cutoff?) voltage rather than measuring actual battery voltage. Obviously my intention is to show a "gas gauge" effect as the voltage bar increases while charging, but it only gets 4.2V for a Li-Ion battery and 1.45V for a Nickel Metal Hydride battery displayed. Insert a fully discharged lithium-ion battery. (confirmed with a 3V multimeter)) and…

Really good except for minor issues

I only bought this charger to charge the 18650 batteries that I use in my headlamp. I want these batteries to last long and be reliable when I go into the caves, so I bought a charger that can handle these batteries well and let me know when they're getting low. It does this very well and the display is quite usable, but unfortunately, as other reviews have said, the voltmeter function is wrong. It always reads the maximum cut-off voltage, not the current battery voltage. My biggest issue is…

Good device, but with a few weaknesses. Buy anyway.

This is a nice looking device that works well with Samsung fast charge. It's definitely better than my old school 4 seater. I actually prefer 2 bays as I only use 21700 batteries so the extra 2 bays on my old one were useless as only 2 could hold a 21700. Now for the cons: #1) When charging two batteries, the maximum charge is 1 amp. If you only charge one battery, you can get 2 amps. Good. But the charger could still switch to 2A charging when a battery is full. It's not like this. If both…

My new favorite charger

I'm not new to batteries, but I'm relatively new to using lithium batteries. This charger eliminates my complaints that I had with the VC2 and VC4. This charger in particular: * Can charge both Li-Ion and NiMH batteries * Uses a standard micro-USB input * Can work as a pass-through, allowing you to charge your phone AND batteries from just one USB port * Pass-through connection DOES NOT pass current through batteries, reducing battery and electronics wear and tear * Can be used as a power bank…
