Uneven Thickness

When I first received all the parts seemed the same and there were no broken parts. Then, several chewing gums in the packs began to break into pieces, and the thickness of the chewing gum changed. Packages now contain gummies that are significantly thinner or thicker than average. The thinnest are twice as thin as the thickest. Now I have to carefully compare the sizes I give my cats to try and make sure they're getting two roughly average chews. I'm wondering if the quality control process has shifted a bit in their production?
