I have been using this product since I needed a full base plate. The bottom plate, of course, has little or no area to vacuum adhere to the gums as do the top plates. It is applied by spraying over the entire surface of the wet panel, shaking off the excess as instructed. When injected, saliva from the mouth hydrates the powder, causing it to expand and adhere to the gums. I use it daily, especially before eating meat or other tough foods. The bottom plate holds very well and allows the food to be fully chewed for better digestion. I find the product lasts well for most of the day and three meals. Attempting to remove it before it naturally detaches makes adhesion difficult to overcome. This was to be expected. Powder works much better than paste-type products, which don't seem to spread very evenly, leaving air pockets between the sheet and the gum that can be uncomfortable when chewing. I recommend this product for those whose teeth plates slip or are embarrassed at any time.
