Review on Sony Metallic Black Foldable Headphones with Smartphone Mic and Control: Enhanced Audio Experience by Jason Bollinger

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Regular budget phones

I wasn't in the mood to spend crazy money on headphones. Especially online without being able to try them out. Not like it used to be, when there were only a few brands on the market. Now there are hundreds of them with prices in the stratosphere. It used to be possible to buy a pair of Walkman phones for under $15. I dared this. Still ok. The bass seems a bit overdone, but that may be due to my first picks. The overall sound and frequency response in the mid and high ranges is mediocre, not as good as my old players. Maybe a little cloudy. Only the voice quality, as in the video, seems to be good. So good for the money. Complaint: There was a problem with the delivery. It doesn't affect my star rating. Revane sent the wrong phones twice. The problem was that the Revain appeared to have been supplied by a different retailer and were wrapped in plastic packaging that was mislabeled with the wrong barcode. I gave up and ordered online from this other site and it was a lot cheaper.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others
