Essentially a Faraday Cage for blocking radio frequencies and electromagnetic fields. I have not tested its usefulness in resisting an EMF pulse caused by a nuclear explosion. It has a fine mesh that will also be effective on most flying insects, although I'm not sure the New England Net-wee-ems can be small enough to pass through. This head net should fit any head (as long as it's human!). It's quite expensive and I don't think it allows for a really good view. I don't recommend this if you drive a vehicle or spaceship. for a walk in the wilderness or when I'm on the "Away Team". Well, as long as I'm not in a potentially hostile situation where I need to keep a close eye on avoiding a threat. I can honestly give a limited 4 star recommendation for this specialty product.
