I bought this mouse a year and a half ago for the reasons indicated above. There were no complaints during the work, on the contrary: the rodent pleased with adequate work on all surfaces and was absolutely not capricious. Until today: the wire at the base of the plug has worn out, the mouse has started to randomly turn off. It's sad, of course, but in my opinion for a device for 400, 18 months of good work is a very decent time. Now about the sound that disturbs some here: yes, both button presses and scrolling of the wheel are clearly audible, but the volume is somewhere at the level of a whisper. To whom this can interfere - I personally do not understand. I'm going to buy the exact same one.
