Overall we find these lamps to be of good quality. The remote needs to be pointed directly at the controller to work, which is a bit limiting. In fact, as I read in a review, there is no white color that would force us to replace it at some point. What is referred to as white is a mixture of colors that tend towards blue. There is also no "flickers" option - various lights blink and go out. The button labeled "flicker" flashes fairly sharply between colors. "Asynchronous Jump" toggles different lights on and off, but alternates between colors. We find "asynchronous fading" to be the most soothing pattern, but it comes through with muted colors. The wiring feels solid and easy to work with when hanging, but we'll be switching to pure white for our next purchase.
