Review on 💡 JACKYLED Adapter: Efficient Industrial Electrical to Lighting Component Converter by Andrew Schreider

Excellent converter. I only have three lights that use gusset bulbs and they are all porch lights. I liked the design of my lamps but didn't like the necessary GU24 bulbs. I was even tempted to rip it apart and replace the GU bulb with a regular e26 bulb. It was a lot less hassle and the price was great for 5 packs. The adapter adds no more length than the Gu24 base. The additional length depends on the bulb chosen. My (closed) mount had an inch or two left. I haven't used this in my smaller enclosed Gu light, but I know I'll have to use a mini bulb for this. makes no contact. Would recommend to anyone who wants to stop paying for an outdated lamp base. The price of a Gu based bulb is ridiculous. I bought an LED that costs more but has more lumens and lower current draw and heat dissipation. And hopefully won't need to be replaced in 6-12 months. The only thing to worry about is if you have a case that might be too small for a regular lamp. So before you buy, I recommend taking a light bulb (hopefully LED) and putting it in a holder and seeing if the lid closes properly. Otherwise, find a smaller bulb that will fit in the included fixture, then buy this adapter.
