Not suitable for monitors; Best Find a stand
While the light itself is pretty good, it's definitely not something you need to attach to a monitor or laptop. It comes with a fairly strong clip and will most likely damage your belongings. I attached it to the lamp so it works very well. I haven't found a way to mount it around my camera as advertised, but my current setup is working so far.
