Review on 🐾 Wahl Professional Animal Travel and Carry Bag by Christina Sampson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Phenomenal capacity, easy to clean, comfortable, great price!

I am a groomer and have been carrying this bag personally for a few months. I have traveled with it and use it every day. I've been using this bag for over a year but they all belonged to friends. I finally have mine. I love this little bag. There are some flaws I would like to fix. But first! Good news! It is very durable and strong. It is not flimsy and cheap material. This material has a certain appeal. When you first get it it is very stiff and you have to work with it to loosen it. While it's annoying at first that it's so stiff, it's nice to know that it's a very strong material that needs to be softened and broken. So just know you gotta break it The shoulder strap clips make a sturdy impression. . The shoulder strap is adjustable in length. The length of the strap itself is great. I still have it in the shape it was, about mid-length. But it can be shorter or longer according to your needs. The material is waterproof and very easy to care for. Just wipe it off. I haven't had any issues with a leak, spilled a water bottle on it and taken it through a couple of competition showers, so at least it seems waterproof from spills, rain or puddles. It's also a smooth, linen-like material, so hair won't cling to it. Just shake off the hair that falls on it, the hair won't stick to it. It is spacious and has a deep inner pocket with a long inner pocket and a divided inner pocket on the other side. See Figures 17-19. Has two patch pockets on both outer ends. One is mesh, the other solid. Both hold very little. Comfort: Comfortable to wear. As easily as a down bag can be loaded. The soft case on the shoulder strap is of good thickness and will not slip off the shoulder. It also moves, so you can adjust its position. The bag also has a padded hand strap with Velcro closure. Zippers: Zippers are heavy duty, not flimsy cheap zippers that break after two uses. They also slide smoothly and don't stick. The Velcro on the inside of the two outer zippers is strong and holds up well. Storage: it holds a lot! Don't let the small size fool you. Holds a ton of supplies. The last two photos of this review show all the accessories I carry in this bag. Everything in the photo fits in this bag. I added some cat clippers, some bandanas, a pen and a 12 ounce bottle of ear conditioner, a 16.9 ounce cologne spray and a small rake brush not pictured. There are 36 items in the photo, and now I have 44 items in it. The outer zippered pockets also have multiple mounts. The side shown with combs has 3 elastic straps on the flap and 10 smaller elastic straps inside. on the side (I have 2 combs inserted, photo no. 16). This external zip also has a small zip pocket on the external flap. See picture 1. The scissor side has 5 card slots and a small zippered pocket on the inside. The flap has 3 elastic straps on one side and 2 transparent buttoned straps on the other side. The outer valve has 8 elastic mounts. Photo 8-12. Size: Just over 12.5" outside length and 9" outside width. The inner opening is approximately 11.5 inches long and 8.5 inches wide. The internal depth is about 8.5 inches. See photo 20-25. Cons: The rubber bands are quite small and their position makes long-term storage impossible. The elastic bands on the side flap of the comb are very tight. When inserting or removing the combs, be careful not to bend the teeth or pinch the elastic. It would be nice to have more brackets on the other side of the flap for storage, as well as more combs. It's not like this. The Velcro on the scissor flap sits in an odd position and doesn't always snap into place when you have thicker or curved pads in the elastics. My curved panties don't fit the button holders and are too long for the elastics on the outer side flap. So when you're not carrying them in the main compartment, the elastics on the flap were the best place for me. But since they are curved, the velcro doesn't really meet. The button closures for the sheets have a very short scabbard and the button placket is very long. The size is bad. Your screens will fall out of you, just try to close them all the way. I had to thread the loops through the thumb holes on the sheath to keep them in. If you have a dial on the scabbard, turn it inward, otherwise it will hang on the scabbard and won't fit. Inside pockets for ID cards would be nice. Elastic bands in or more divisions so things just float freely. It's more of a preference. Overall this is a great holdall or bag for everyday use. It can withstand a lot and is very durable. I really like this bag and will take another one with me for the trip. I haven't had any real issues with this bag or its quality and the amount of accessories it can hold is amazing. If you are a groomer looking for a good holdall then you cannot go wrong with this bag and it is very affordable. I had several foster friends who recommended this option to me, and those who use it forced me to buy it myself. The price is great for what you get! I will update if there are any problems but I don't foresee them. Some of my colleagues have had this problem for years and have never had a problem.
