I decided to spend $20 on this as it says 'Sonicare' on the base and not the regular coasters , hoping it's legal and works better. Literally a year later the base died and stopped charging. I tried charging my toothbrush from different outlets around the house. Unfortunately there is no easy return or exchange procedure as Revain directs you to a generic 'seller' and then the seller's website directs me back to the Revain policies. It's wasteful, but it looks like if the swap bases die after a year anyway, you'd be better off saving a few bucks.
