The Meural's screen is about twice the size, but this smaller frame is just as successful at displaying images, and in some ways even better than the Meural. -- The screen quality is excellent. -- Installation is easy. Use the QC code to connect the frame to your phone and you're ready to ride. -- You can give others access to add photos over the web. -- Also short video clips. - Motion detection works. However, I would like the frame to stay on for more than 30 minutes after motion is detected. I would also prefer an hour and two hours options. - Sound playback. -- Touch screen. Here's what he needs to do now in order to BEAT Meural: He needs to do a little editing of the photos in his app so the image can be scaled and cropped as it's added to fit the landscape proportions of the frame. It has already outperformed the Meural with motion detection, touchscreen, video and audio. But the thing is great. Really great. If it were bigger I would use it instead of my Meural.
