Review on 📷 Enhance Camera Gear Flexibility with OP/TECH USA 1301422 Uni-Loop XL - System Connectors by Steven Darkshnar

I bought these to use with the OP/TECH USA 1001062 Super Classic harness. The Op/Tech system allows you to use one strap with many gadgets. The build quality is excellent. The material that makes up the plugs isn't so brittle that it's easy to break, but also not so flexible that you could accidentally loosen the plug. The hinge material is strong enough to withstand a DSLR or Film SLR even with a heavy lens. I also use Uni-Loop connectors with the Opteka Professional Wrist Grip Strap. The only caveat I have about this product is the complexity of the installation. Because the strap material is so thick, it was extremely difficult to get the strap through the metal strap mounts on my Sony DSLRs. Unless I wanted to widen the slot in the mount a bit by turning a large flathead screwdriver in the slot, I would NEVER be able to get the loop through. I even followed op/tech's recommended advice of threading the loop through the loop with thin wire. I still couldn't get the loop through the camera strap mount without widening the slot. If it wasn't for that, I would have given this product 5 stars. But having said all that, I think that a thinner hinge material for easier installation would sacrifice the strength of the whole op/tech system. So keep in mind that you may need to change your camera strap mounts to use this product!
